A group of researchers posted findings on Friday saying AI agents being tested by OpenAI uploaded hundreds of malicious packages to RubyGems back in May, and that they believe the packages were authored by internal OpenAI agents. The researchers also say the agents targeted RubyDoc.info in an attempt to run their own code on its servers.
